what is HTTP?

HTTPS is HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure. so https is secure version of http. it use port 443 for data communication.it is a combination of SSL and HTTP. HTTPS alows secure connection between the server and browers. its offer bi-directional security of data.
only HTTPS requried to certified with SSL(secure sockets layer).
**if any site certified with SSL and you type HTTP the that site automatically take you HTTPS.
